wanderlust

have you ever walked into a bookstore and become overwhelmed with profound sadness and regret that you'll never have enough time to read all the books there? (hi, yes I'm crazy, and I love books!!!).

well, I do, and I'm having a similar conundrum now. I'm planning this trip around the world and every time I look at a map, my mind takes off. I wanna go there! and there! and oh, look! there too!!!

then I realize that I only have 9-10 months (HA! only!! see the crazy?) and I won't possibly have the time and definitely don't have the funds to literally see the entire world all at once.

after much consternation, muttering, and map checking, I think I have a rough agenda planned out.

North/Central America: Guatemala (April 23- June 10)
Europe: UK, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Poland
Asia: Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, China
Australia/Pacific Islands: Eastern coast of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii
North/Central America: San Francisco, Costa Rica
South America: Peru (Macchu Picchu), Brazil (Buenos Aires), Argentina (Iguanzu Falls)
Europe: London

to my regret, I had to leave off Russia, Africa and a lot of Asia due to time/financial constraints
